| "The location was perfect. You can clearly see the Mt. Cook in front of your valcony with binocular glasses that Hermitage hotel provides. However, the service was terrible. Supper and breakfast are the buffet style. We did not appreciate the tastes. Also, the waiters and waitresses should be more trained. They do not know the timing when they should clean plates and offer drinks. Some of them were very rude also. We were disturbed by their disrespectful jokes. I will stay at the different hotels in Mt. Cook next time. Not Hermitage hotel." |

| "My wife and I stayed in the Hermitage in October 1976, and paid US $38 a night including breakfast. Why has the rate gone up so much since.? The highlight of our six week trip to Australia and New Zealand was going on that 4 seater plane to the top of Mount Cook. Does it still do that run? I think we paid US$10 each for the trip which took about 30 minutes." |

| "You were fantastic. The staff was extremely helpful. We had a tramautic experience getting there through the snow. However, when we arrived the room was large and comfortable, and the view the next morning of Mt. Cook was dramatic.
The dinner that night was superb. In fact, in my opinion it was the best meal that we had during our stay in New Zealand. Your staff should be complemented on their attention to service. We did not want to leave the next morning.
I rate our experience as the best during our stay in New Zealand.
