| "The Hotel itself was lovely, however the Service was quite ordinary.
On arrival I was asked by a young man (probably a concierge trainee) if I would like a hand with my luggage.
I didn't think the question was appropriate to a 60 year old, especially when he had nothing better to do than to stand at Reception and watch as I loaded our luggage onto the trolly, into the elevator and up to our room. (Still watching when I returned the trolly)
Another disappointment was that we had purposely booked Distinction because of the in-house Maoris Concert & Dinner advertised on the Website. When we went to make a reservation we were told it was not on either of the two nights we were in house. We had to make enquiries and go elsewhere.
The building made us feel more welcome than any of the staff.
