| "Our superior room on the top floor had a superb view overlooking the geysers and the swimming pool. The pool and spa were lovely which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The buffet dinners were superb with lots of choices, seafood was delicious and the staff were very good. The lounge area and the open fire were just the thing for chilly evenings. Room service was also good.
The Maori Culture Show was excellent together with the food, again the staff were very helpful.
The reception staff were always ready to assist and nothing was too much trouble and overall the staff were a credit to the Hotel." |

| "The hotel was old but clean. The pool area was the best feature. The location was near the attractions but also close to a thermal village so the smell is pretty strong. The help was okay but not exceptional." |

| "I stayed here in September 05. I found the rooms to be quite well presented, and the view of the nearby maori community, and hillsides, very nice.
Service was above average.
The nightly show and dinner put on by the hotel, of maori dancers, was too short, and the food quite average.
I would happily stay here again" |
