| "The hotel has a fantastic location just across from the Te Papa museum and the waterfront. The rooms were fairly large and had two chairs and a small table overlooking the harbour. Ask for an upper-story room (we stayed in 711 just opposite the elevators) so you can get a view. We had gale force winds during our stay and in our room the wind noise was quite loud. Because of the wildness of the wind, it's likely that all the higher floors had the same noise. Even though we were close to the elevators the traffic noise was minimal. The bathroom was quite large and well appointed with a tub and separate doorless/curtainless shower. The hot water was hot and the cold was cold. The shower also allowed for hand-held cleansing. The front desk staff was very helpful in providing recommendations and answering questions. The room was cleaned daily and didn't smell musty or wet like many of the other hotels in NZ do. I would definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I'm traveling to Wellington." |

| "The desk staff was most helpful and made good recommendations. They were happy to store our luggage for a few hours.
The room was beautifully appointed with a lovely view. Very handy location.
We would stay here again on future trips to Wellington if we were able to secure such a good rate." |
