| "The above criteria do not work!! Good idea but there is no response to pushing the OVERALL RATING factors.
Clean, good location, average room, service fine. Being a 'Backpackers favorite should have been mentioned.
Overpriced for what it was. However, thank you for being helpful with luggage and advice." |

| "I booked a room for one night at this venue. Prior to making the booking I enquired if the room I would be getting had shower, toilet, coffee & tea etc. I was told tht it did have these amenities.
Upon arrival I first of noticed that the sign over the door read "Hostel" not hotel. I then found out that this was a backpacker style of premises. Although a bit more up market then most.
After five minutes of being ignored by the receptionist I was finally given a card to enter my room. I had a look at the room to see what it was like. Unfortunately it was extremely spartan.
This room had no TV. No toilet or shower. No coffee or tea facilities. It did however, have 2 sets of double decker bunk beds. That was a nice surprise for my wife and I.
The facilities that I was told were in the room were actually shared facilities located in a common room shared by all guests.
All of this would have been okay if I had been told about it prior to making and paying for my booking. I ended staying in the HOTEL next door.

| "For budget accommodation it was adequate. Few hitches when checking in. Sent to wrong room. No towels in room had to request towels. Access card wouldn't work at times. Cleanliness ok. Best is the location. Walking distance to everything that Wellington has to offer. Would stay again on a short break." |
