my wife and i stayed the last week of may and the first week of june. the resort is young and fresh. it is located very far from other resorts, which is great if u r looking for a nice relaxing time. and which we did, our stay was very very relaxing. the food is top notch, no buffets here. food is prepared fresh just for you.night life is very quiet due to the location. if you are looking for a loud resort with night life, this is not the resort for you. this is purely a relaxation and very quiet resort. the staff are great, and Grace the owner is a fantastic host. if there is anything you want to do, she will take care of all arrangements for you.the property is brand new and very beautiful. my wife and i had such a nice relaxing time, we hated to leave. thank you Grace and staff.

| "I stayed at this resort for five nights with my wife.Grace (the owner)runs a top of the line place. All of her staff are there to accomidate you and assist you in any of your needs. The resort is set in a very serene setting and is in a fenced in area so you always feel secure. The food was excellent as was the patio area to sit and enjoy your meals.Part of our stay was during a typhoon (Frank)but everything was well taken care of.Thanks for everything Grace and I am looking forward to returning next year." |

| "This resort ranks as one of the best I haved stayed at during my travels to 26 countries. Grace ( the owner) is very organized, professional, but very friendly. The rooms are clean and complete with all of the amentities you would expect in a resort of this calibre. There is a good selection of food on the menu and the taste is exceptional. It is easy to tell that Grace has years of training in the hotel food management business. The staff are very friendly, and always ready to please.
If you are looking for that special resort where you can say, "this is as good as it gets", treat yourself to the White Beach Resort, Anda, Bohol.

| "My wife, our 10-year-old daughter and I stayed here during May 10-13 to celebrate Mother's Day and my birthday. It's a new, charming, relaxing and intimate place (developed on only 0.5 hectare of beachfront property) with a wonderful view of the ocean and faraway islands. It was stormy so we couldn't really swim in the ocean, but the newly finished pool was very refreshing.
There are only five rooms and we were the only guests at the time. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable, although the front balcony area could be larger. Grace and her staff were very accommodating, and responded positively and warmly to all our requests, including our largely vegetarian meals. The service level is among the highest we have experienced anywhere in the Philippines, thanks to the eight months that Grace trained her staff before opening and her hands-on management of the resort.
There are landscaped terraces and steps leading down to the fine white sand beach. This could be problematic for very small kids and the elderly.
This resort is the perfect place to chill out. And Anda is also a good location from which to tour Bohol's natural wonders -- Chocolate Hills, tarsiers and Loboc River, where one can take a lunch cruise that makes a few stops along the river to showcase local communities performing local songs and dances.
Here's what my wife thought of the resort: "I can say that this is the very first time that I deeply experienced peace in a resort. Maybe that was just a time of my life, but my meditation has revealed to me very strong positive energy of the place. The people were genuinely pure and friendly. Despite the weather at that time that prevented us from swimming in the sea, I still had a GREAT time at the beach. Grace, the owner is highly "developmental" to the staff and the place. The place also gave me for the first time a very genuinely happy stomach in a resort setting...the organic or indigenous menus and the superb cooking of the cook all added to the pleasant experience. Service was tops, and I was able to satisfy my craving for "tuba" (coconut toddy) and the subsequent "kinutil" (sort of eggnog). I definitely would like to go back to the place again, and maybe bring other indigenous plants and healing herbs to further the healing aspects of the place."
Thanks Grace and staff and we'll definitely be back!" |
