| "ROOM & ROOM SIZE
Perfect, except that the window opens up to a rock wall, with no views at all. This is however not a big deal as most will not stay much time in the room itself. TV has a wide range of cable channels.
BATHROOM
Acceptable, except there is no bathtub.
LOCATION
Hotel is very well located, right in the middle of White Beach and just 3 minutes walk to D*mall, an open-air cluster of non-beach-facing shops, cafes, restaurants, including a fairly large supermarket.
The hotel itself is right on the beach, and you can just walk out of the hotel for a swim in your trunks or swimsuit. The hotel provides plastic tanning beds for its guests for the small stretch of beach right in front of it. Very convenient and perfect for a beach holiday.
VALUE & SERVICE
Hotel is not for budget travellers. As with most hotels and shops in Philippines, the service is good. You are also provided a welcome drink and a welcome necklace made of very small seashells / beads upon check in.

| "The normal rooms did not have a window and were on a floor where everybody had to pass! Loud and noisy! Then we were offered a better room but for 40 USD a night which is not worth it-its still the Philippines and its still Boracay! So we only payed 20 USD! But then construction work NEXT DOOR woke us up on the two following days until we were loudly complaining that they have to stop the noise or we wont pay anything. Expect not to much of the room service. Hotel is in general not bad and when you get a renovated room with a balcony on a high floor, then the hotel is alright. For us it was not worth the money and you can find cheaper solutions in Boracay! Regency seems quite nice!" |
