| "Review on Pinjalo Resort during stay from 6 March 2008 to 11 March 2008
My friend Purany, and I arrived early in the morning, way before the check-in time, so we thought we would have to wander around on our own to pass the time. However, the staff had kindly arranged for a smaller room for us to relax and wash-up first while our room was being prepared.
When we did get our room, it was actually so much better than what we had expected or hoped for! It was a big room with a bigger balcony than the other rooms. The balcony had two sofa sets and a dining table. The toilet was big and lots of light flooded in from a small window. The best surprise were the two queen-sized beds waiting for us to jump on! Initially, we had requested for one king-sized bed but to have two queen-sized beds was even better!
Throughout our stay, we noticed that each time we came back from shopping or sightseeing, the fresh towels that were placed for us would always be folded in some different ways. Very creative of the staff to do so.
The Pinjalo staff could converse in English fairly well so communication was not a problem. They were very helpful and polite in everything, including arranging for our day-to-day sightseeing trips. There was once when the two of us wanted to go island hopping but were hesitant about being alone with strange boatmen somewhere out at sea. A Pinjalo staff, Chiki, was kind enough to accompany us on that trip.
Later, on my birthday which was on 8 March, the Pinjalo staff sang a birthday song for me when we were leaving to go out for the day. Never did I expect though that the surprise would end there. When we came back in the evening, there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers sitting on my bed with a card wishing me many happy returns of the day! The flowers were freshly picked from the Pinjalo garden. It was really sweet of the staff to do that for their guest.
Despite all this, we do feel that a slight improvement could be made. We would like to add in a recommendation for a kettle to be provided in the room for guests to have hot beverages. The Pinjalo staff was kind enough though to let us have their big thermos on our last two nights so we could have our nice hot teas anytime.
Overall, both my friend and I had a wonderful experience staying at Pinjalo Resort. We will definitely recommend it to anyone who is going to Boracay for a holiday. " |

Definitely one of the best resorts I ever stayed.
Very clean, very good service, lots of space, absolutely recommendable.
The owner is a German, so everything is well organized. People are very friendly. If I go
to Boracay again, I will definitely stay in this resort again. Thanks for everything.
PS: When you fly out to Boracay, please travel with CEBU Pacific air.
However, but the service of Pinjalo Resort made it all up and made it an absolutely wonderful holiday.

Sehr sauber, sehr guter Service, jede Meng Platz also absolut empfehlenswert!!!
Der Eigentümer ist aus Deutschland, alles ist also bestens organisiert! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Sollte ich nochmals nach Boracay reisen, so werde ich, wenn eben möglich versuchen, im Pinjalo Resort wieder eine Unterkunft zu bekommen. Vielen Dank nochmals für alles!!
PS: Wichtiger Hinweis, sollten Sie nach Boracay reisen, dann fliegen Sie umbedingt mit CEBU-Pacific Air

| "Rooms are big and some very big, good services and location (safe- nearly police office, and near Boroay Tourist Center), 2 min walk to prominade street in beach side (bars, restaurans, shops). Clean (except towels- genegally look not fresh). In rooms not available telephone. Brekfast +/- standard (not rich, but enaugh) in Sport Bar 100m outside hotel in beach side. Very friendly staff. Very nice garden of hotel. Generally it was very nice and please stay in this hotel. Thanks." |

| "Pinjalo is a excellent resort in Boracay the rooms are in a form of a villa almost set inside the complex within a vast amount of local flora which makes the setting absolutely gorgeous even thought is not located right on the beach the beach is just a 100m walk through a very busy and safe street. The hotel has some beach chairs in front of the beach which you can use and it is located on the best area of Boracay as you are near but far from Boat station 2 and D'Mall which host all the major the staff along with the restaurants of boracay.
I highly recommend Pinjalo the staff are very helpful and can make your enjoy and relax during your holiday." |

| "i found this hotel to be good value the staff were exellent and it has one main advantage over most other hotels ,the pool is useable at the rear. Breakfast could be better but over all i was happy and will return " |

| "I stayed at Pinjalo just before peak season (23-26 Nov 2007) Pinjalo was the perfect place for me to get away, relax and have a proper break. The service was fantastic, the staff were very helpful, friendly and curteous. I found the place to be very safe, relaxing, secure, clean and comfortable. The rooms are very spacious, balcony's a generous size as well.The bathroom was kept very clean and it was nice to have a proper shower with warm water available and a toilet with a flush - which mind you is a luxury in asia over all! There is a pool and gym available on site as well. Although not beach front it's very close to the action - 2 mins away from the beach, 24 hour internet facilities just 1 min away, close to all restaurants, bars and tour booking spots. The police station is on the same street as this hotel so I felt safe to walk around even though the street was dark at night knowing that it was on the same street as the police station.
My only critisium I guess is that there is no room service available which would have been helpful on one of the days when a typhoon hit boracay and also because I got sick on my second last day it would have been nice to have just ordered something in instead of having to go out while sick looking for for a restaurant. But other than that, It's a nice haven from the hussle and bussle of Boracay itself if you need to get away from the action as well... I'd definately stay there again!" |

| "Our first time in Boracay,from leaving Manila to arriving at Pinjalo,everything great.On arrival at Pinjalo,was greeted with 100% service,checking in easy ,and being shown to our room.Room was fantastic,amidst the well kept beautiful gardens .Staff so helpful and happy ,nothing was a problem and all requests were sorted and we will be back .ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL VALUE FOR MONEY .RH" |

| "We originally booked 2 nights with the plan of looking around for a better place just incase we were disappointed with the resort.Instead we booked the other 2 remaining nights with them again and was upgraded to a loft style room (1 QB downstairs and 1 QB upstairs)apart from a bit of noise from the construction next door - we were absolutely happy with our stay.A 3 minute walk to the beachfront was not a problem at all especially when Pinjalo guests have the access to the beachside lounge chairs in front of the Calypso restaurant. I will highly recommend this place for people who prefers a bit of privacy at the end of the day but still enjoy the luxury of the beach within short distance.
