"This hotel certainly requires a total update except the tall block that has just been renovated. the old block I stayed with my friend was very run down. Everything is so old and everywhere is smelly. The local of the hotel is indeed a killer. Its situated in a cul-de-sac of a small road outside a shanty village. Getting out of the hotel only relies on taxi which you hav eto order from the hotel and nearly all the taxi drivers rip off passengers in our hotel especially poor koreans who don't speak English. Taxis arrive the hotel with the meter hidden by a cover. We are not sure if this is a conspiracy between the hotel and the taxi operator so even if you specifically order a taxi with meter, you just never get one. The longest time we waited for a taxi was 40 minutes. The only good thing I would say is that the staff in the hotel was pretty hospitable and passionate. Me and my friend arrived the hotel 3:30am in the morning and they let us check in our rooms at 8am and not the official check in time of 2pm. "

"the hotel is nice, however I was annoyed by the functions that the hotel was having (noisy)...breakfast is not very good..however over all not a bad hotel"

"My week at CostaBella was a great getaway from my normal city life and the great expectations I did have were actually fulfilled. From the friendliness of the staff to the tranquil setting of the resort I must admit I had a fantastic and awesome time. Well done to all you guys who made my stay an enjoyable one, will surely be back there soon. Thanks to Asia rooms for keeping me updated at all times your services are great. Keep it up Costa Bella well done. Gordon Matthew"

"the hotel welcome was great, we had welcome drinks, the hotel poter brought our bags up in a very polite manner. hotel staff were pretty good. hotel bfast was horrible.room was clean and big enough. location of hotel is bad but that cant be helped as it needed to be on the coast but street lights can be installed so that guests can walk out to nearby food stalls."

"The private beach is very small. It is also difficult to access outside. However, the staff is very nice and helpful."

"plse note that this hotel is under renovation, have never seen a bathroom like this b4 in a 4 star hotel, sooooo old, but service ok. noise from 7:30am have to get up, change room same thing. the hotel have a newly built wing, but i guess not for internet bookin."

"The hotel is very old. There's a misty smell in the hotel room, fittings in the bathroom is old & rusty. We had stained old bath towels!!! One compliment which I have is the level of service by the resturant, porters & service desk service staff. They are GREAT! Very firnedly & always willing to help. The menu is very limited in the resturant though. We had the same breakfast for our entire 6 days stay!!! "

"Good Resort, staff are very good and helpful. Felt a litle locked away with security and location, distance to good local eateries if you wanted something different for lunch or dinner. All in all had a good stay."

"The coastline is aweful. The private beach is small and the beach is neither blue nor swim-friendly. The adjoining beaches are not quite 'beaches' as they do not even have sand. Service here was excellent though, hotel facilities quite adequate. But this hotel is too secluded for our liking and the beach was a letdown. "

"I will definitely stay at your hotel if I go to Cebu. This is just an anecdote but pls take it seriously: I was having breakfast with my Filipino friend when the restaurant manager came and said to me "Sir, you cannot share your coupons for breakfast". My Filipino friend was a registered guest, so pls be careful to ask first not to the "apparent guest" but to the person himself. Being a Filipino young man casually dressed does not mean he cannot be a registered guest. Although my friend did not feel insulted, I felt deeply sorry for him, because he is an extraordinary and humble youngman. Looking forward to staying with you again. Harold E. Ralph"
