| "I appreciate that the hotel is going through a refurbishment but the non-availability of facilities such as the lift to the ground floor and the pool should have been made clearer through the website.
Nevertheless the staff are very friendly and the service great." |

| "The best customer service I have experienced in the past 20 years! I have traveled all over the world and nothing compares to the outstanding staff at the Marriott in Cebu. After 2 days you feel like family. It was my first time in the Philippines but the entire staff made me feel right at home and was always eager to help me out with any questions that I had. I'll be back again!! " |

| "We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights the last leg of our trip in Cebu ,people and their service is very good the only dissappointment with this hotel is the airconditioning unit where we stayed is not good enough to make us feel comfortable at night its so warm inside we could'nt sleep I had reported it and was given another room but still the same AC is warm ,since we had a lot of stuff w/ us just decided to just stayed in that room for one more night ,tired of moving from one room to the other ,but the lobby's AC system is so strong feels like winter in the US.Thats the biggst dissappoinment I had with that hotel, wonder if they do it intentionally to save on energy bills.AC is a big thing for us since my son has sensitivities to warm environment, good thing we bought a hand held fan I use that to make him feel comfortable at night so he can sleep." |

| "Stuffs are o.k., but they often talk each other, regardless of customers sometimes. Security system is perfect. Breakfast is a level of mid.-well. The kingsize bed is not too soft, not too hard, kind of nice. Placement is very convenient for shopping, golf, night spots, restaurants, & distance to A/P. Business park is quiet place. I think its reasonable price as quality as Marriott. price of using P/C in their business center is P.250./half hour which is teriblly expensive, finally I didn't use it. Totally you can feel peace in this Marriott. If the price is 10% less than $120/night, I'll be sure to stay again." |

| "Perfect service from check in to check out
This hotel is an absolute delight to stay in
Security is high, staff are polite, well trained and helpful at all times, buffet meals are exceptional (unlike other hotels I have stayed at, the buffet meals are hot not luke warm or cold) and the best was HUGE and comfortable
As usual the mini-bar prices were high but the mall nearby sells items at a lot less.
Internet in the room was fast and reasonable cost
Cable TV stations were appropriate and plentiful
The Pool and Gym were nice and clean with up to date equipment
I enjoyed the music in the foyer of an evening - very relaxing over a drink after a hard day at the beach
On my list of preferred hotels in Cebu and will stay there again and recommend to friends

| "My stay was very enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and polite at all times. The room was kept spotlessly clean. An excellent range in the choice of food for breakfast, with attentive staff.
The proximity to the Ayala mall is very convenient and requires only a pleasant short stroll through the park from the hotel.
Although security precautions were tight at all times they were handled with polite discretion and were never intrusive." |

| "Doors to the rooms are about 1.5 inches above the floor and this allows a lot of sound into the room from the hallway.
Housekeepers make a lot of noise as they clean, deliver papers, etc., and this permeates the rooms, which is particularly annoying at 7 am when one is trying to sleep.
The hotel design is a standard Marriott (or most any other hotel for that matter) with long corridors and room doors opening off the corridor -- very institutional, but that's the way big hotels are.
The location near Ayala Centre is good for shopping and eateries. As you need a taxi for getting around Cebu City, it's well-located.
The buffet (breakfast and weekend dinner) is one of the most extensive I have ever seen in any of my travels." |
