| "First of all I want send my warmest regards to hotel staff. They were all the time extremely kind and friendly. I had opportunity compare hotels in Philippines during my vacation. My accommodation was 2 different hotels in Manila and Grand Regal in Davao, which all was same price category. Comparing those hotels which all has been rated 3 star hotels my strong opinion is that Grand Regal should be at least 4 star hotel. Location was really good near airport and same time environment was very peaceful. Taxis were good, reliable and very easy to get. Facilities were much more than only basic, example Casino, sauna, own separate space for smokers, outdoor swimming pool etc. Room was much more bigger than either hotels of Manila. And what was also big difference concerning air-condition. One of Manila hotel had only on/off manual switch and an-other had fortunately remote control, but Grand Regal has more options where you can set temperature suit-able yourself and fan has 3 different modes. For me it was easy to find out comfortable temperature. Break-fast was excellent as foods were all the way very good. Hopefully I would be able go back soon to Davao and I can assure that my accommodation will be then Grand Regal. Once more thank you for made my visit in Davao very joy able experience." |

| "A very well appointed hotel which is clean and has all the facilities. Interesting to note Casino next door (would not recommend food there). Taxis were really good and available outside hotel - had a rigged meter going back to airport so be careful - think you are wealthy staying at this hotel. Hotel is highly recommended." |

| "i enjoyed very much my stay overall at the grand regal hotel......the only thing,the bathroom did not have the exaust fan working?? plse check as i wasn`t very happy about that! thank you.
Iam planning traveling to Davao back again very soon,and hope to use your services

| "Not bad at all but not so great too. It's just right for budget traveller. The room is quite spacious although next time I would opt to stay at the non-smoking section. I will still consider to come back to this hotel." |

| "Grand Regal is excellent for one night stays, but I could not imagine staying here any longer. Service is really poor. The front desk reception is pretty bad. They lack organization. As I was checking out there was no line whatsoever and a bunch of people would just be rude and go in front of the line and they would be served first. When I complained about their service they just brushed me off like nothing happened. If it was not for the horrible service, this hotel would be easy to recommend, but the best I can give it is a recommendation with reservations." |

| "These comments are based on my WORLD TRAVELS and I have stayed in some of the best Hotels in the world.
I found the Grand Regal to be the standard by which other Hotels should be judged. The staff were very friendly and very service oriented. I was greeted cordially by everyone including the Armed Guards. I was unable to open a door because some one was there to do this. I was staying at this hotel with my Fiancee and her family and the staff welcomed them with open arms. Nothing was too much trouble. We wanted a late lunch after the meals had been closed and a meal was prepared and served in the room as though this is a normal event.
Many other hotels around the world should take note of how the Grand Regal Hotwel treats the guests.
I would recommend this Hotel to every person and I will be passing this information to other Australian travellers to Davao.
Thank you Grand Regal and staff for a wonderful experience and a wonderful visit." |
