| "We stayed for one night after travelling from Iloilo and prior to our return home to the UK. It is expensive so Budget travellers would do well to look elsewhere, as would Eco Adventurists.
The service was very good and the rooms were well appointed. We were travelling with out two teenage children and we were given two adjoining rooms with a connection door between them. This was useful as it negated the need to step out into the corridor.
We only ate breakfast within the hotel. The selection was wide and varied from Cereals to Bacon and Eggs, Fresh fruit, plenty of Tea and Coffee. Enough to set up anyone for the morning.
The foyer is huge and magnificent with a beautiful wood panelled ceiling and plenty of sofa's and chairs to lounge about in. We were visited by friends and we stayed there for the duration that they were with us.
One of the rules of the establishment is that no taxis are allowed to tout for business and they do not allow taxis to arrive at the front door unless they have passengers. So if you want a taxi, you need to walk down to the guard station and ask the guard to flag one down for you.
All in all a very nice stay albeit a very brief one" |

| "The room was large and comfortable, however the TV was only 19", very small for a 5 star hotel. " |

| "The breakfasts could do with some work (raw sausages anyone!) But the hotel is lovely and steeped in History, and though not new or modern, it has great kitch appeal and for that alone is worth it." |

| "Except that unfriendly and ununderstanding behavior, nothing to say against this hotel which is in a good price, in comparaison with the others hotels of manila, which are in the same category." |

| "I used to stay in Pan Pacific and Hotel Intercon in my previous visits to Manila, but this time round I was recommended by my friend to stay in Hotel Manila instead. It's not near Markati though, if you are planning to shop around Gloriata or Green Belt, it could take you 35mins to 50mins drive to get there, depending on traffic. But I must say, Hotel Manila still holds the grandeur of a former 5 star hotel which houses many dignitories in the past. The room is very spacious, with old english decorations and it's clean. Service in the hotel and cafe are great too. I'll definitely visit this hotel again. Also book at Asiarooms, their rates are good." |
