| "One of the better hotels in Manila and ideally located for our four night stay before flying onto Cebu. We were in Manilla for a wedding and all the British guests were staying at the same hotel. Frankly we could not fault the place. We had no problems with our stay and the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. We took a hotel car with driver/guide on an excursion to a local volcano and typical Filipino restaurant for lunch. Fantastic day out. Good value for money and the driver, Rody, was a fine fellow. Local large shopping Malls a short walk away. We will return to Philippines again in two years and will definately stay here for a couple nights before moving on. Transfer from airport to hotel using hotel's car is expensive compared with local taxi, but I didn't care after very long flight!
A definate yes to the Peninsula! " |
