| "My friends and i stayed in the only triple single bed room available in the hotel for 3 days 2 nights. The room is spacious and clean. The TV was bad initially with only one channel on our day of arrival, but for the next 3 days we were in the hotel, the TV started having many channels to keep us entertain after dark once we relax in our hotel room!
We were surprised to be met at the Puerto Princesa Airport by the hotel staff, we had wanted to take the tricycle to the hotel initially, as there was no complimentary pick-up service for our hotel in Manila. Luckily, i saw the board indicating my name with the hotel logo.
We were also welcomed with a Buko Pandan welcome drink at the reception.
No problems with the check in with our booking from Asiarooms.
But the hotel staff did mess up our booking for underground river tour the 2nd day of our stay. We almost couldn't go to the underground river as we only had 1 full day in Puerto Princesa before flying back to Manila. Eventually, Lisa, one of the hotel staff, resolved the issue and Mervin, the staff who messed up the booking, paid the extra so that my friends and I went on a private tour with a tour guide from Ellens Tours & Travel. Our guide, Toto (Angelo) was very good!
Generally, the hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Even with the hiccup, I would still recommend the hotel to others, just make sure they have black and white confirmation when making bookings with any of the hotel staffs and note down the staff name as they do not wear any name tags !" |

| "On the surface the hotel looks great but poor staff and penny pinching destroyed my stay. A 3 star hotel without a bar fridge and hot water that only worked 50% of the time. The room was a magnet for mosquito's and had to ask several times to have the room sprayed. I ended up having to buy my own spray for the weeks stay. It is not a cheap hotel in fact fairly expensive for a 3 star hotel in the Philippines. It is the worst value for money of my 6mths staying in Philippine hotels." |

| "The room size (twin bed) was fairly spacious. No mini-bar in the room. Mattresses were thin and so it was like sleeping on the floor.
The location of the hotel is about 6-7 minutes by trike from the centre of Puerto Princessa, but costs ony 40 peso by trike to get into town (night or day) so OK for those that prefer a slightly quieter location. Facilities at the hotel are OK, small but adequate breakfast area. Enclosed restaurant for evening dining. Good size swimming pool.
There is not much to do near the hotel, although there is a good artesan market about 5 minutes stroll back toward town.
In my opinion I would rate this hotel as OK if you dont mind being a little way out of town. Staff always friendly. Good sized rooms although a little basic, but I didn't stay in the most luxurious rooms which might be better for those that require that extra level of comfort." |

| "Good Points:
a) Friendly staff
b) Clean rooms
c) Quiet place to stay
d) Bar to hang out at night
e) Hotel tranfers
Bad Points:
a) The toilet in our room was flooded with water for most of our stay. I informed one of the housekeeping staff but she didn't do anything.
b) Asturias is far from the city proper but 3 wheeler bikes are available 24/7." |
