"This is a 3 star hotel at best. Some refurbishment is required, but the basics are solid. The location is perfect and the facilities are good (resturants, etc.). If you wish to laze around a pool, go elsewhere - this hotel provides reasonable accommodations at a good price, it is not a vacation hotel."

"overall very good, friendly people, good service, great location, good food."

"The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel offered very good value alround"

"I'm staying 1 night at this hotel. The room is a bit old and glumpy. But the location is great because near to Shukumvit and Nana station ( Sky Train ). You can take an express bus AE3 from airport and just closing the street to get to the hotel. There is many other hotels surrounding the area. May be you can find a better bargain from other hotel."

"Not too bad, but also not special. Normal hotel. In the same price range I booked via your services the Royal Parkview, which I think has a better Price/quality ratio. "
3/5  Posted by MRS. HORTON, Bev, Australia in July 2008
"On arrival we were told that the hotel was booked out so we were put in a temporary room for the night which was less than adequate. It was dirty and of low quality. After that first night our accomodation was good. The only other comment I have is that there is not an English speaking programme on the TV apart from Asia news. CNN and a Movie chanel for english speaking visitors would have been nice. The staff were all friendly and polite and apart from our difficulties on the first night, and having to change rooms ourselves, it was overall a good experience."
4/5  Posted by MR. CROSS, james, United Kingdom in July 2008
"Many rooms at the amanhattan have recently been refurbished, and are quite pleasant. The breakfast is a little limited, and the restaurant would benefit from some music, rather than the television showing CNN. The staff are excellent, but the fitness room is poorly equipped. The location is good, close to Asok and Nana stations. The Manhattan offers excellent value for money."

"Terrible front desk staff, extremely rude. In addition, rooms and hallways smelt musky. Discarded furniture and old beds in the hallways."
3/5  Posted by MR. KHAN, Salman, Pakistan in July 2008
"This place is ideal for its location as BTS sky train is 5 min away. Also Nana centre is not far. Service was fine with food in the resturant at a reasonable price. Breakfast was good but some of the corckery was not cleaned. The room size was ok but the carpet was dirty and the walls were dirty too. The view from my room was amazing with skyscrapers all over the place. I would recommend this hotel for budget travellers but I myself would probably stay in some other hotel near by if I get the same price. "
