| "The room was very unclean, stained dirt on most floors, especially in bathroom.
Had to change rooms to second floor as the noise from the wooden outside stairs was dreadful.
Breakfast began at 07-30am which was no good at all if you wanted to have an early start exploring anywhere, this start time for breakfast wasted most of the morning by the time you had finished eating.
The hotel was to far from any nightlife eg;markets, restaurants, bars, shops.
On a high note the staff were all very curtious and helpful. The swimming pool and gardens were excellent." |

| "Lovely hotel right on the tranquil part of Mae Ping. A bit out of the way and you need to book a taxi 30 minutes in advance. But the lush garden and river view is the reason you should stay in this hotel at least once. I was given a room on the ground floor overlooking the pool. The spacious terrace is great if you want to get a tan without leaving your room. Don't expect too much from the breakfast buffet though." |

| "We spent the most romantic relaxing stay at Lanna Mantra Resort in Sep 2007. The staff really want to please, and make every effort to meet your needs. We used the free internet service, enjoyed a massage in the room, and booked a driver for the day to see the mountain regions of Doi Suthep and Doi Inthanon - much cooler and really impressive. So spend at least a few days here in absolute comfort, as there is so much to see and do in the area, and two lovely (reasonably priced)restaurants just down the road..walk to the right as you leave the resort to an authentic Thai restaurant, or go left to a top class French restaurant, both with river views and so romantically lit at night! If you prefer to eat in the pretty open-air resort dining area overlooking the lotus pond, our recommendation is delicious green chicken curry. Everything is immaculate and the tropical gardens and swimming pool are sublime. The best rooms are overlooking this pool. What a wonderful bonus to our holiday!

| "Had 2 communicating rooms for our family - Very nice rooms with tek wood furniture, balcony on pool & river
Very kind & smart people always ready to serve you
Away from the city so very calm but not too far (10 min from night bazar - 150 baht - taxi called by hotel)
Real wonderful stay!

| "Location is not good, not either near to a city or else where, good for some one who don't wants to meet with people. you should ask for a taxi from the reception desk, you have to pay too much money for transportation or your will stuck in the hotel" |

| "A lovely relaxed hotel about 10 minutes from the centre of town. Staff are very friendly and the management were excellent helping us with various business dealings when communication in Thai was required. Renting a small moped for the week worked well for our commuting in and out of town (and for about £10 for the week it was not punitive)
Altogether a very good place to stay for a relaxed atmosphere in attractive surroundings. Hope to go back in the not too distant future.

| "Long drive from airport and not too easy to find. Directions on website almost useless. Was disappointed in the quality of the room for a "boutique" hotel, in that it was nothing special. Front desk staff very good. " |

| "This charming boutique hotel is beautifully designed and furnished in a fusion of modern & traditional Thai style. We were amazed that FREE wi-fi internet access is available in all rooms, something bigger Hotels could learn from with their outrageous charges for this service!
The owner was very charming and justifiably proud of her interior design skills - and went out of her way to make us feel welcome.
Breakfast was adequate, and plentiful.
The location is a little out of town, but taxis and Tuk Tuks are cheap, only about 150-200 Baht. Journey time 15 mins. Make sure you take the Address in Thai with you, as the Hotel is new and not well known yet. We did - and had no problems, as the directions are clear on the back of the Hotel Brochure, available in reception.
If you are looking for a wonderful little hide away, with great service and reasonable prices - this is the place for you.
Also a tip - do try Le Crystal Restaurant near to the Hotel - this offers 5* French Cuisine and service. Also on the Banks of the Ping River, and just 1 Km away. We were astounded to find such quality - and the two businesses compliment each other well. " |

| "My husband and I and our 11 yr son just stayed 5 nights here, and we were delighted. Fantastic place to 'chill'. Everything was great- the staff were wonderful, the restaurant had a small but delicious menu, breakfast was excellent. There are only 50 rooms, but as we were in low season and it's pretty new, we were often on our own at the pool. We were upgraded to a large room with 2 kingsized beds. Marvellous time. It's relatively unknown so far, so recommend you take a map to show the driver of tuk-tuk, where to get you back to. (It's about 7 minutes from old city) Tuk-tuk about100 baht. I would certainly recommmed this place." |
