Capitol Hotel Bucharest was built in 1906. The impressive exterior of hotel Capitol paints a somewhat deceiving picture of a hotel needing renovation, but nevertheless has a prime location and is clean and functional. Small/medium in size the lobby is always buzzing with activity, but in need of renovation. Built in an L-shape, with the reception at one end and a small travel agency at the other, the decor is simple and dated.
The whole exterior of the hotel has been completely renovated. The white 19th century building looks hugely impressive when lit up at night.
