We liked the Allson hotel very much, returning two more times during the months of April and May of 2005. The first room smelled a little musty, but the others were fine. A great value for the money. Very good breakfasts, clean and neat rooms and responsive housekeeping. Centrally located and good transportation. Within walking distance of most things, or a short hop on the best transportation systems of any city. Air conditioning a little weak and registration desk could be friendlier. Concierge staff is absolutely the best; rely on their advice on food and travel in Singapore and Malaysia.

| "Excellent location. The room was spacious and the bathroom well fitted out. Proximity to an excellent hawker centre with delicous food was an added bonus. The swimming pool was on the small side." |

| "My stay was short and unpleasant.My flight was delayed ex London by 11 hours and this changed my trip completely.I decided not to stay 2 nights in Singapore since my journey was interupted by the delay.I was very disappointed that the hotel wcharged me for both nights even though I only stayed for 4 hours (8.00am till noon on the first day.) I won't use either The allson hotel nor asia rooms .com without careful thought in the future." |

| "we wanted a hotel near a mrt staion and this was about a 5-10min walk.food hall situated right next door.plenty of shopping nearby.
excellent public transport system. only way to see is by mrt and buses - ie. cheap as well" |
