Good location close to the MRT, Raffles Hotel,Chijmes.
Rather an odd hotel...I think it's seen better times....but there's a roof-top pool, small but clean, and for just a few days' stay in Singapore the hotel is good value for money.

| "We were extremely impressed with the service and facilities at this hotel. In fact, it far exceeded our expectations and was far more impressive in reality than on the internet. We would certainly stay there and have no hesitation in recommending it. It is a very comfortable place to stay." |

| "The rooms are oldfashioned and the breakfast is poor in comparison to other hotels in Singapore. But the location is great and the hotel is also not far from the MRT stations Bugis and Dhoby Gaut. The rooms are clean and especially the porters are very helpful and friendly. Overall a correspondent value for the paid money." |

| "We booked the Allson Hotel as we had used it before, but we won't be using it again. It was our honeymoon, we booked a deluxe room and ended up with a broom cupboard, two people could not get into the bathroom at the same time and I was only trying to dry my wifes hair. The breakfast was as we remembered it, very good and the staff most helpfull. The hotel needs a good clean and is in need of re decoration, we were very dissapointed." |
