Our stay at Allson Hotel was very enjoyable.  The service was good and the hotel room was very comfortable and clean.  We enjoyed our swimming at the pool except that there is never any towels at the pool.  The breakfast was of a reasoanble standard. Hotel is centrally located.

"The hotel was basicaly good. The safe would not work at first due to a sticking microswitch. However staff were very good and responsive- it was fixed in minutes. Unfortunately the control/computer system which controls the ligts and aircon froze up late at night so we could not turn off the lights or turn on the aircon. We did not call for assistance as it was late but had to unscrew the light bulbs so we could sleep. This is probably a rare thing. Apart from that the hotel and restaurant were confortable and we would stay there again. Regards, Dave "

"Reception staff unfriendly. Concierge helpful. Breakfast acceptable. Our room had third bed (extra paid for this)at the expense of chair and table. Generally overpriced (115 UK£ per night, per room)for a functional hotel in an excellent location"

"Hotel is perfectly.Overrall its clean , staff are polite. I have one issue check in times , when arriving from London after long flight,getting in at 0730 you got to wait till 1200pm to get a room. What a tied customer should do."

"We were extremely impressed with the service and facilities at this hotel. In fact, it far exceeded our expectations and was far more impressive in reality than on the internet. We would certainly stay there and have no hesitation in recommending it. It is a very comfortable place to stay."

"The rooms are oldfashioned and the breakfast is poor in comparison to other hotels in Singapore. But the location is great and the hotel is also not far from the MRT stations Bugis and Dhoby Gaut. The rooms are clean and especially the porters are very helpful and friendly. Overall a correspondent value for the paid money."
