I sent an e-mail to the Allson hotel with my special requests: non-smoking room, two single beds, and as we arrived at 7 am in Singapore I asked if it was possible to stow my suitcases at the hotel. The respons was quick and positive.
On our arrival we were allowed in our room immediately and the room was all we asked for. The hotel is very centrally located, if you don't mind the heat to much, you can walk to Chinatown, Little India, Arabstreet and Orchard road. The MRT station is also a short distance from the hotel.
I will certainly recommend this hotel to others.

| "Excellent location. The room was spacious and the bathroom well fitted out. Proximity to an excellent hawker centre with delicous food was an added bonus. The swimming pool was on the small side." |

| "My stay was short and unpleasant.My flight was delayed ex London by 11 hours and this changed my trip completely.I decided not to stay 2 nights in Singapore since my journey was interupted by the delay.I was very disappointed that the hotel wcharged me for both nights even though I only stayed for 4 hours (8.00am till noon on the first day.) I won't use either The allson hotel nor asia rooms .com without careful thought in the future." |

| "we wanted a hotel near a mrt staion and this was about a 5-10min walk.food hall situated right next door.plenty of shopping nearby.
excellent public transport system. only way to see is by mrt and buses - ie. cheap as well" |
