Staff were friendly and helpful, very courteous and nothing was too much trouble.
We were more than satisfied with the meals, and the appointments were most impressive. The foyer conveyed a sense of understated elegance.
We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Singapore.

| "The most frustrating aspect was the internet access which was advertised as in room wireless LAN however the access in the room was poor to no-existent. If the WLAN had been free of charge I would have been less concerned however it was necessary to buy a voucher and expensive at that.
The best way I can describe this hotel is Fawlty Towers in the Tropics!" |

| "The carpet in the room was very unclean. I had pre booked a baby cot but this was not available. I had also ordered an extra bed which was not in the room when we arrived. The location was great, but the rooms were very tired and need upgrading." |

| "I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel.The location is not particularly salubrious however it is quite convenient to most shopping and touristy things, with Taxi fares very cheap in Singapore. The Hotel is very old worldly and very comfortable. The food was good and I can't fault the staff." |
