"This hotel was quite conveniently located near the city hall where you can take radid transit to most of places in Singapore. The room and services were excellent. However, the late night serving in the 24 hour restaurant was a bit slow and foods at the bar were not recommended (just expensive) compared to other bars in Singapore. Last one the bathtub was clogged and was not fixed to my satisfaction. The shower curtain was smelly so had to be changed."

"This was my first stay at the Carlton. I was impressed with the size of the room and the panoramic window which framed the skylight beautifually at night. Previous stays with hotels that have balconies tended to obstruct the night view but no so at the Carlton. I did not realise that the Carlton was only across ther oad from Raffles City shopping mall and across the road from the historic Raffles Hotel. It is convenient to shopping, the CBD for my business meetings and to the MRT. I visited Orchard Road during my stay and was horrified by the disruptions there from 3 major construction projects being in progress. I was so pleased that I elected to choose a hotel away from Orchard Road to be closer the Marina prescient. The staff and reception at the Carlton made me felt very welcome and the Wah Lok Restaurant was very vergy good. Thanks to the frontdesk who strongly suggested that I gave it a try. Tony Ho"

"Great hotel, we have been traveling around southeast Asia since March. Carlton Singapore is the best hotel so far. My wife just love the hotel & it's location. I will surely stay there next time in Singapore. As for the service of Asiarooms, for sure I will use them again to book hotels during my travel. Asiarooms is great. Thanks Ralph"

"This was our second visit to the Carlton, and again we were extremely pleased with the standard of this hotel. The Duty Manager and the hotel staff were extremely helpful."

"Quite a good hotel with friendly helpful staff and good service in all departments. Room size good with higher floors quieter but more expensive. Food, in the first floor restaurant, for breakfast and evening meal, was good. "

"We arrived at the hotel and was ssigned our non-smoking room, however upon entering the room it was noticed that someone had been smoking in the room and that both beds had been made up however one bed looked as it someone had slept on the top of it as the sheets were crumpled and the pillow out of place, the second bed look as if someone had sat on the edge of the bed as this was all creased Called the front desk and complained and the manager on duty come up and reviewed the room and immediately moved us to another room. Other than this found the service as expected of this rated hotel. Found the service in the Coffee Shop a little slow especially during the breakfast buffet "

"Overall the hotel was quite good considering the major development currently taking place. There was a problem at check-in regarding a room upgrade as my email to a member of staff had not been communcated toreception, consequently the upgrade was not available on arrival. Nonetheless my wife and I enjoyed our stay particularly the breakfasts which were superb."
