| "Carlton hotel needs upgrading. Bathrooms old, dated and small. TV is still not flatscreen. Internet costs are a rip-off - should be free (Hint: use the internet cafe around the corner). Buffet breakfast was quite good - many choices. Location is very good. Beds are a bit solf and lumpy, and pillows are old and lumpy as well. Efficient front desk staff. Probably, though, a 3.5 star hotel at best." |

| "The room size is reasonable, TV channels need improvement, more English. I like the availability of an adapter for electrical connection. Location is good, central and close to Catholic church. Clean surroundings. Bathtub drain was poor. A faucet in the bathroom wasn't working well. Housekeeping was good, including response to needs. Included breakfast is good. " |

| "had a wonderful four day stay at the Carlton. it's short distance to city hall mrt and to city linkraffles city malls make it very accessible to almost anywhere (even a catholic church) in singapore. breakfast is simple yet satisfying and hotel staff accomodating. standard twin sharing room is quite spacious with two comfortable double sized beds, tv, safety box and a mini bar. bathroom is regular in space but neat with all the basic necessities in place. frankly speaking, there's nothing much to complain about with our stay in Carlton. " |
