Wonderful views over Singapore. Hotel was undergoing alterations and offered free upgrade to their Club Class rooms with access to executive lounge for refreshments and breakfast at no charge. Plumbing problem in room was solved immediately by room move. So top marks for excellent service with both expected and unexpected issues.

"This hotel is in an excellant location, 5 min walk to the MRT, huge shopping mall across the road and good selection of restaurants at cjimes which is opposite the hotel. The selction at breakfast is superb, however you are not shown to a table at breakfast, you have to find one, which is rather embarrassing if you sit at the wrong table. Otherwise the hotel service is excellant. The room size is large enoough to satisfy everyones's needs. Would definitley stay here again."

"Service was outstanding and room very comfortable. We booked the second tier of room (not the basic one) and it was luxurious and restful, close to the city without being too busy. The staff service was excellent, we were treated like Royalty. The breakfast was a feast, more options than you could possibly need. We had one drink in the bar. Oh dear. For one glass of beer and one glass of orange juice it was $25.00, more than four times what we've ever paid before. The view from the room was excellent but the hotel was being expanded so in the future only the premium rooms will have the view."

"The location is perfect as City Hall MRT and many busstops are in the near vicinity. It's in the middle of the city center. Raffles City Shopping Center is almost opposite to it. There are foodcourts in the near vicinity (Victoria Street & Bencoolen). The room/bathroom is ultraclean! Breakfast is good. The bathroom is rather small but sufficient. The toilet did not flush very well. Keep in mind that Singapore hotels are expensive. The price/value ratio is not comparable to hotels in Thailand and Malaysia."
