Those looking for value-for-money yet a good stay in singapore should try the Copthorne Kings. The rooms are newly renovated (as of the time i am writing this NOV 2006). That means the bathroom is super clean and nice. Carpets are fresh. It's just too bad not located near the MRT, but taking the taxi in Singapore is quite easy and not-that-expensive, so it really made a good stay for me and my family. We booked a number of rooms, and encouraged some of our out-of-town guests to stay there too .. and they loved it.

Far from MTR and bus station, only way to get anywhere is taxi.

| "My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at the Copthorne Kings. Our room and its facilities were very good, staff were very friendly and efficient and the breakfasts were good, No complaints whatsover and full of praise for the staff." |

| "The only downside to this hotel is its location, although it is only 10-15mins walk from 3 different MRT stations the Singapore humidity and thunderstorms means to don't arrive anywhere "dry"
The staff are excellent, the breakfast buffet is great but very crowded after 8:30am.
The baggage storage and shower if you have a late flight are very handy.
Expensive when compared to the rest of Asia, but that's just Singapore." |
