We live in Singapore but were moving apartment, so needed an hotel for a few days. The Elizabeth Hotel, accepting that it isn't 5 star and doesn't claim to be, was very reasonable. The rooms are a bit snmall, but clean and you have all you need. Road warriors can get online with highspeed wireless internet access. The pool area is an oasis of calm and quiet, quite an achievement considering the hotel is smack in the middle of the businest shopping area in the world. The restaurant has decent meals at very reasonable prices and Orchard road is within an easy 5 mninute walk. The small "park" on the second floor, surrounding the hotel is also a tranquil place top relax and just enjoy a break. Staff were very helpful and always courteous. The hotel is nearly always full, speaks for itself really. I'd stay again and recommend it to friends and family if needed.

| "We were pleased with our room though we had to wait a couple of hours for it to be cleaned (we arrived early in the morning). We found the front desk helpful, the breakfast more than adequate and the location most convenient! The room and bathroom were clean and best of all - the beds were most comfortable. I will be staying there again and will happily recommend it others. " |

| "The rooms in this hotel could probably do with some refurshment, especially the bathrooms. However for the price and location this hotel is a good deal in Singapore. I have stayed here twice and would probably stay here again. The swimming pool area is very nice for families who might want some shade at certain times of day. Service is very good. The Breakfast buffet is good but they could do with changing it a bit more. On the whole a thumbs up. " |

| "Absolutely fantastic service from the front desk, porters and also waiting staff in the restaurant.
$38.00 for two beers was a bit much for my liking.
Great Location, good room and poll area also.
I would be happy to stay again and hopefully will in the not too distant future." |
