I took the #24 bus from the Airport, but it stopped at the start of Geylang on Geylang Road, whereas you may be better asking the driver to drop you close to Lorong 6 (or you'll need to take a taxi). Also, the roads are marked as Lor 6, 7, 8 etc (not Lorong), and if you take a taxi he will go round the other end of Lorong 6 as it's one-way (and the hotel is just a few metres off Geyland Road) - so get him to drop you on the corner of Lorong 6 and Geylang Street.
The hotel looks nice, the staff is very friendly and helpful (international adaptor S$5 deposit), 2 good and fast Internet terminals in the lobby at S$1/15mmins and they both have USB ports (so I transferred data to my laptop via a USB flash drive).
Lobby, lifts and coridors are modern, spacious and very clean. Room was small but clean and well presented, jug, cups, daily coffee/biscuits, hairdryer, TV, effective air-con, no fridge, nice built-ins but only 4 coat-hangers. The cleaner waited until I went out at 2pm rather than disturb me - definitely a plus point.
The mattress had a plastic cover, and thus do not be surprised to awake wrapped in crisp white linen and loking like an Egyptian mummy - the hotel could fix this by using 'fitted' sheets with elastic, or by Velcro - all it needs is for the bottom sheet to be secured to the mattress and not slip. With an obvious tradeoff between cleanliness and mummification, I saw this as a minor negative point.
The location is great, with the MRT 10-12 minutes' walking. My room faced the back, overlooking other buildings and a distant park with a busy road in front, but my room was not noisy.
Of course, Geylang is a vibrant area, really conveniently close to the city, and seems as safe as anywhere else in Singapore.
You get a lot for the price with this hotel - though I have not been in Singapore for 10 tens. I'm a reviewer for an Australian karaoke website, so I stay in a lot of places and was impressed by this hotel.

| "This hotel is only have a tiny room, but if you compare to the room rate, I Think this hotel is very valueable to stay.
Room is clean, service is ok (very helpfull staff), bathroom is also clean. Air Conditioner is OK.
I think if I want take a budget travelling again, I'm absolutely repeat to stay in this hotel." |

| "The hotel is good for romantic couples, room is clean, AC is working very well as well as TV, bathroom is good with complete accessories (towel, soap etc). Staff are very nice since one of them is Filipino, internet is excellent very fast 9 S$ for 3 hours is good enough. We stay for 4 days and so far so good and we went back after 2 weeks and stay for 2 nights. Price per day is cheap when you book on line otherwise you pay higher when you arrived. Location is good you could select restaurants outside and a lot of beautiful girls for hire since the hotel is in red district area. " |

| "We stayed here for 10 days in September.Proximity to MRT, bus and some of the cheapest , best quality food in Singapore. The room was quiet in the evening and the bathroom much larger than some more expensive Singapore hotels we've stayed in. The location was excellent, despite negative comments others have passed about Geylang. My partner and I came and went and at all hours of the day and night felt safe. The staffs service was excellent and both wireless and hard wired internet availability was an unexpected plus. Rooms were cleaned each day and 'coming home' was always a pleasure with water, coffee and light refreshments always replenished. Would stay here again and recommend it for couples, families and businessmen." |
