Tiny rooms, good for Solo trips.
Blanket and bed sheet pretty smelly.
Bathroom good, although no curtain.
Good for just spending the night.
It's mores suited as a 'Transit' Hotel.
Not advisable for family, especially kids.
Overall, a reasonable place, as long as you go Solo or don't have a 'Fussy' spouse.
In red light area. Won't get 'Good Vibes'.
to sum up, 'Touch & Go' Hotel

| "I was afraid of staying in the Fragance Emerald Hotel because of the comments of some people here. But when I arrived there I realize that is a very good option for people that is looking for a budget hotel. Very close to Sky Train, very close to Bus station, very close to 7 Eleven, many restaurants available 24 hours in that place, very nice hotel, very kind attention, very clean, the room is small (according to a budget hotel) but affordable, very quiet and very close to main attractions and the airport. I never had to take a taxi (I stayed there 8 nights), because of the good location of this budget hotel. And dont worry about the safety, there are many people around 24 horus. So for the people that is looking for a five stars service and facilites, just look for another hotel and pay five stars money!!" |

| "We requested a double room, however the hotel only had twin rooms available (they claimed we had requested a twin room, however our booking form stated differently). The first room provided was not made up from the previous guest. The second room was ok. Though the MRT was close by, it was difficult to find." |

| "Great Value, Staff are excellent and very helpful Any problem I had was quickly rectified. 10 min walk to Kallang MRT Train Station.
In 30 mins can be having Mcdonalds in Lucky Plaza on Orchard Rd. Great cheap food Western, Thai and Chinese on corner lorong 6 open 24 hours. Bus 12 to Mcdonalds on Stadium Rd where can use free wifi for internet if have laptop.
Beach opposite Big Splash not far away. Bus 401 on weekends. Bus 2 to Changi Beach which is very nice.
Internet Wifi costs 4 dollars per hour in hotel(should be for free). 15 to 18 dollar taxi fare to airport 30 mins trip. Families stay here and have no problem with working girls in streets close by. I recommend this hotel over any other hotel in Singapore and the money saved can be spent on day trips on Tiger Airways to Ho Chi Minh or Kaula Lampur or Batam " |
