| "Selected this hotel only as an overnight stopover.
Would definitely not stay there more than 1 night.
Rooms very small. Was traveling with my wife and 7 month infant.
Hardly any room for suitcases.
As we were traveling with an infant, I requested some extra pillows to ensure our infant wouldn't fall off the bed. Could only provide 1 spare pillow. This is very poor.
Took about 15 minutes to walk to nearest train station, but the walk is an easy one.
Room was clean.
Red Light district, but this did not effect us at all.
In fairness to hotel, the cost was only $80 AUD so couldn't expect too much.

| "This Hotel is strictly for the budget minded.Rooms are small, bathroom is a wet room and in the red light district. The night workers are visible from the windows, although they don't bother you.
Rooms are clean and service is OK

| "Clean and value for your money. Suggest a small tray to hold the coffee mugs, water and cookies. Soap bar instead of the dispenser. A smaller tv would make the room much bigger. A big noisy in the mornings." |

| "To be honest, the Fragrance Pearl in Singapore was not at all what was advertised.
Budget is one thing .... but this was worse than the seediest backpacker hostel I've had the misfortune to stay in.
The room had a double bed in it, which took up the whole room. There was not even room to put our suitcases down. we had to keep them on the bed and shove them down the sides when we went to bed each night.
The hotel advertises tv, dvd, internet and many other things that were not in fact in our room. There were sheets on the bed and a dirty smelly blanket sitting on the end of the bed. Considering the type of hotel guests were too scared to use the linen at all.
We knew the hotel was in the red light district but had been told by your website and Lonely Planet that it was a perfectly nice hotel ... however 90% of the hotel guests were prostitutes with their clients, the 5 or so men sitting in the lobby 24 hours a day must have been pimps, and the kerbside on both sides of the street in front of the hotel were lined with prostitutes.
We had hot water and air con and the bathroom was clean thankfully. The internet facilities consisted of 1 computer in a tiny room off the lobby where you had pimps watching you through the door.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

| "I took a AU$50 room, the room was rather old and smell, there was a mouse in the room, lots of marks on the curtain (fangus), aircond worked but too noisy and cannot change the setting. Hot water seemed to be shared with other rooms and quickly run out. You may want to bring your own towel." |

| "It was cheap for SIngapore and it was available. They were the factors that led us to book here. The room was so small and for families the view from the window of the 24 hour a day procession of sex workers is probably not a great thing. Having so much good food close by was a plus and it was only a ten minute walk or so to the 'subway'." |

| "Clean and tidy room in the heart of Geylang. Lots of streetside restaurants on the main street corners. Not suitable for families due to the number of ladies of the night on the streets surrounding this hotel. Be careful with your belongings as i think the cleaners went through my shopping bags. One small 50c gift went missing. Other than that, a pleasant stay for $50AUS per night" |

| "It will be wise and also better that the asiarooms can also stated what the surroundings and environment like around the hotel. Otherwise people will think this is not a good place to stay." |
