| "This hotel is great for the budget traveller, but possibly not for families as it is in the red light district.
Clean, air conditioned and close to public transport and food halls... great for a short stay in Singapore.

| "The reason we chose this budget hotel was because it was close to the subway. We have stayed at the Fragrance Pearl before but found the rooms here smaller and not as clean. It is in the red light district but we felt perfectly safe. If we went back to another budget hotel in Singapore would probably chose another hotel" |

| "In the last years I stayed in Singapore in several other Hotels: Hotel 81 Star, Hotel Fragerance Pearl and others in this area. When I compare, I would prefer the other ones.
The Room in Hotel Ruby was rather smal (but for one person ok), The Bathrooms needs a renovation (the drain-pipe was rather slow and something more).
On the other hand: it's Singapore. " |

| "There is not much to recommend the Ruby to anyone except that the price of even 3 star accommodation in Singapore is so expensive. If you have to stay somewhere on a budget under $S80 then the Ruby is probably as good as anywhere." |

| "Frankly speaking, the service is moderate as the check in time is quite late around 2pm!! But it's good for budget traveller during peak season.
Moreover, it's very close to MRT station that enable the traveler to travel to the nearest shopping area (Bugis street) in just few minutes ride.
Although it's the XXX hot spots area but non of them disturbing or interfering during our stay.
This place is quite peaceful even walking at night.
Thanks to Asiarooms.com that provide such a convience service to all the online travel folks.
