We booked into this hotel for one night as our flight home wasn't until 4am. It provided us with a shower and a clean bed for a few hours at a cheap price which was exactly what we were looking for. It is in the red-light district. However, in Singapore this meant a interesting, living and bustling area which is not threatening, is good for people watching and is probably worth a quick visit. This hotel served its purpose, but I would not want to stay there any longer. The rooms would be far too small for an extended stay, so unless you are on a really tight budget it is probably worth spending a few extra £'s per night.

| "The reason we chose this budget hotel was because it was close to the subway. We have stayed at the Fragrance Pearl before but found the rooms here smaller and not as clean. It is in the red light district but we felt perfectly safe. If we went back to another budget hotel in Singapore would probably chose another hotel" |

| "In the last years I stayed in Singapore in several other Hotels: Hotel 81 Star, Hotel Fragerance Pearl and others in this area. When I compare, I would prefer the other ones.
The Room in Hotel Ruby was rather smal (but for one person ok), The Bathrooms needs a renovation (the drain-pipe was rather slow and something more).
On the other hand: it's Singapore. " |
