Would I stay at this location

Super chic hotel in good location. Room not large but well equipped and well designed with comfortable beds and premium linens. Bathroom very smart and also well equipped but had difficulty in getting sufficient hot water from the shower. Public areas have a definate WOW factor and are beautifully furnished. The main dining room - Town served a very good and extensive buffet breakfast, although the restaurant, undoubtedly modern in design felt like a factory cafeteria. The hostess that showed us to the table had a real attitude problem and was very unpleasant. All the other staff we encountered, from check in to maids were extremely friendly and helpful and overall it was a great thrill to stay at the Fullerton. The size of the swimming pool disappointed though, it looked much larger on the hotel's web site photographs.

"We realy enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. Our room was lovely overlooking the quay. We will definately stay there again. A perfect finish to our trip."

"The hotel was great, superb location for the river and amenities around about. It was very sophisticated and business like. The room allocated on arrival at about 2 am was very small and was totally unsatisfactory to accommodate 2 people. I have stopped in luxury hotels around the world and not had to deal with this situation before. The room made my wife and me feel claustrophobic; furthermore if I had been on my own I would have still felt the same in this room. Even the bellhop who brought our cases to the room asked whether 2 people were stopping there, somehow I don't think he could believe it either. After complaining to the hotel management the following day we were moved to a different location however we lost the view of the river that we had requested and paid for. I can only say that if you are stopping at this hotel and arriving late at night be prepared to be placed in the only room that is left. I do not like to be treated like this in any hotel however I must say for 5 star this was totally disgraceful. The fact we were only stopping at the hotel for 2 nights and the first was a late arrival, this factor spoiled our stop in Singapore. My wife and I were tired at 2 am in the morning and neither of us slept during that first night. A complete disgrace for a 5 star hotel...I will never stop there again. "

"The Service at the Fullerton is outstanding. On arrival after a 12 hour flight, we were greeted with the utmost courtesy, and best of all, at 07.00am, our room was ready!!!! The facilities were excellent, the service outstanding. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there. "

"We stayed in a club room,the room is not club standard and in need of update. We have stayed in club rooms in a lot of hotels in Singapore & the Fullerton rooms are not up to the standard of other hotels,value for money not sure."
