| "Another excellent stay at the Gallery. The location on Robertson Quay is good for easy access to the restaurants along the river down to Clarke Quay. Taxis used to be a bit of a problem but this trip there was usually one available when required.
The service was good and many of the staff have been there for a long time. An excellent hotel for business or a holiday visit." |

| "Modern, trendy-design hotel, with great pool setting. Rooms are modern (although mine was a bit small), and have everything you might need, including iron and ironing board. Nice location by the river, and near Chinatown. A pleasant 10-15 minute walk to the subway station. Otherwise, there were always taxis around. Breakfast staff friendly and efficient. Helpful reception staff. A place for business people, couples and singles. I liked it and would stay there again." |

| "The hotel is well positioned alongside the river and quays. The staff were friendly and efficient. The bedroom was small and the bathroom minute, although both were well fitted with necessary accessories. Air conditioning was inadequate. Breakfasts were excellent. The dining room and lounge were closed for a private function, leaving no easy chairs outside the bedroom e.g. while waiting for taxis. " |

| "Nice modern hotel achingly hip.Would try to avoid rooms on the north west corner over the coming months as groundworks on new construction site have only just been prepared and could make it noisy in the mornings." |

| "Very nice hotel, good location although The Gallery needs to improve overall service and staff skills.
Breakfast was disappointing.
Getting to your room requires two elevator rides or three if you coming from the car park.

| "The hotel was nice enough, the rooms had a unique funky quality about them, but everyone else is correct in that the rooms are VERY small.
The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, so cannot fault the customer service. There was a lot of construction going on around the hotel (February 2008), our room looked out right onto a major renovation site so every morning when we opened our curtains we were greeted by the construction men on the scaffolding opposite our window. Not exactly the most charming way to start the day.
The location of the hotel is not exactly centrally located to all the sites and tourist spots, but taxis are cheap enough that we didn't really mind so much, though next time I think I'd stay more in the Clark's Quay or Marina neighborhood.
All in all, it was a fine hotel. Fine. And if someone were to put me up there for free I certainly wouldn't refuse, it was fine. However, if I were to book myself a hotel again in Singapore, for $200 / nite, I think I'd try someplace else first before going back.

| "It was our 4th stay at the Gallery Hotel. We like the boutique style. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there is a huge construction site opposite the hotel. Another drawback is that the room rates have doubled within 3 years. So I guess next time we have to find a cheaper hotel in Singapore. " |
