Gallery really is an excellent find among hotels. If I ever reurn to Singapore it will certainly
be my first choice. It's refreshingly different to the ubiquitous chains of hotels found in
most cosmopolitan cities while retaining all the facilities and comforts that might
encourage one to choose the former. Gallery has a modern and funky layout - losts of
glass and steel - which revolves around the 4th floor restaurant and cafe - both of which
serve delectable yet reasonably priced food. The breakfast (which is very popular) also
offers plenty of choice. The location is good too: the position on the river means it's a
lovely evening stroll down along the eating and drinking spots of Clarke Quay, and it's
pleasant 10 minute walk to Orchard Road (easy enough for anyone with a decent sense
of direction).
We stayed in the hotel for a total of nine nights (over two stays) and found the staff
friendly and welcoming. On our second arrival we had a slight problem, through no fault
of the hotel, which the manager on duty sorted out promptly.
Rooms are fine - our first was more spacious than our second - although both were
significantly larger than some other hotel rooms I've stayed in. They have all the usual
facilities but unlike other hotels who choose to rip off guests with extortionate internet
charges, Gallery includes this unlimited service free gratis.
All in all the Gallery Hotel is a nice place to be. Well done to all the staff there - keep up
the good work!

| "This was our 3rd visit and again OUTSTANDING value, service & staff. This is a great hotel and offers immense value for Singapore, only a 5 minute walk away is Clarke Quay and endless opportunities to dine on great cuisine. The location is a short cab ride to any main areas in Singapore. The great art vibe makes this hotel a good departure from the "normal" expected hotels and lends itself to a warm yet funky vibe not found in the mass hotel chains. I would consider staying no where else and I am rather hard to please, so it's a definite on my list. " |

| "The room was spacious, bright, clean and very modern in design (Glazzhaus Room). It had all the amenities needed. The breakfast was not great and could be better. The room we stayed in had an internet access for free which was great as I needed to use the internet to work on my MBA project. Overall, it's a very nice boutique hotel!" |
