This was not my first stay at The Gallery; on this occasion I had booked through an internet agency. I was booked into a smoking room, which is not suitable for me at all. After speaking to your duty manager I was informed that no other rooms were available for that night.
However I would be moved to another room the following morning. I was also presently surprised to find myself moved to an upgraded room the following, being informed that it was to make up for the smoking smell for my first night. I would like to point out that your reception staff were always professional, efficient and courteous in their dealings.
I did find the gym was a rather small space, but adequate, although on this visit I did not make use of that facility.
The only negative I can point out is that your cleaning staff need to be a little more efficient in their duties. Finding a half smoked old cigarette above the shower/bath stall on checking the room on my first arrival, was not what I expected. I certainly did not expect to find the very same cigarette the following day, AFTER the room was cleaned. A small point maybe, but in keeping with the overall excellent standard that your other staff showed, I'm sure you would like to make suitable improvements.
Overall, I will certainly be a guest at The Gallery again, and recommend you to my associates and friends.
