My friend and I stayed at the Gallery hotel for 2 nights in February. The hotel is not quite as nice as I had hoped for. The bathroom is so small and not well-functioned. The receptionists were nice and quite helpful but still we had to wait for nearly 2 hours before we could check in. The bathroom was not quite clean. The other downside is that this hotel is quite far from the MRT. So we spent a lot of money for taxi. We had tried walking but found out that it's not worth our painful legs and swollen ankels. The taxi that we took told us not to stay in this hotel again because "this hotel is mean. they don't let taxis park infront of the hotel. The passengers cannot see taxis. Not like big hotel, they are good to us. taxis" : )

| "This was our 3rd visit and again OUTSTANDING value, service & staff. This is a great hotel and offers immense value for Singapore, only a 5 minute walk away is Clarke Quay and endless opportunities to dine on great cuisine. The location is a short cab ride to any main areas in Singapore. The great art vibe makes this hotel a good departure from the "normal" expected hotels and lends itself to a warm yet funky vibe not found in the mass hotel chains. I would consider staying no where else and I am rather hard to please, so it's a definite on my list. " |

| "The room was spacious, bright, clean and very modern in design (Glazzhaus Room). It had all the amenities needed. The breakfast was not great and could be better. The room we stayed in had an internet access for free which was great as I needed to use the internet to work on my MBA project. Overall, it's a very nice boutique hotel!" |

| "-Hotel design is interesting, unusual (including color scheme for interior - room & coffee shop)
-Service is good, feedback: supply of morning newspaper
-Internet facility is very good (unlimited & free of charge) - this is what I like most, especially for business traveler
-Breakfast is ok, reasonable
-Bathroom amenities are ok" |
