I stayed in Gallery hotel from 11 Feb to 15 Feb 2005. I chose Gallery because most of the comment online on this hotel is quite positive.
The staff is as friendly as what is described online. The buildings and the decoration of the hotel are also interesting. The swimming pool is worth taking a look.
However, not all aspects are satisfying. The location of the hotel is not so convenient. It is far from the MRT station and the bus stop. The bathroom is so small that it can hardly hold two people at the same time... and the equipment is basic. The glass door of the bathroom is a little bit embrassing.
But on account of the price/quality ratio, overall, it is still rewarding.

| "This was our 3rd visit and again OUTSTANDING value, service & staff. This is a great hotel and offers immense value for Singapore, only a 5 minute walk away is Clarke Quay and endless opportunities to dine on great cuisine. The location is a short cab ride to any main areas in Singapore. The great art vibe makes this hotel a good departure from the "normal" expected hotels and lends itself to a warm yet funky vibe not found in the mass hotel chains. I would consider staying no where else and I am rather hard to please, so it's a definite on my list. " |

| "The room was spacious, bright, clean and very modern in design (Glazzhaus Room). It had all the amenities needed. The breakfast was not great and could be better. The room we stayed in had an internet access for free which was great as I needed to use the internet to work on my MBA project. Overall, it's a very nice boutique hotel!" |

-Service is good, feedback: supply of morning newspaper
-Internet facility is very good (unlimited & free of charge) - this is what I like most, especially for business traveler
-Breakfast is ok, reasonable
