| "we found the hotel was up to our expectations in all aspects. Location was excellent for shopping, MRT services, amenities also excellent ie swimming pool etc. Service at areas like reception, internet, main entrance were faultess. We cannot comment on the restaurant as we ate out generally. One minor critisism, was that the carpet was a bit past it's "Best Before Date". On the whole we were most impressed with the hotel overall, and would recommend it to any of our friends on where to stay in Singapore." |

| "We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, last july 03-06, 2008. Superior room is very spacious, i love the location because it's very near the bugis mrt station, very accessible to any place, and also walking distance to the bugis junction, bugis village and bugis street, i love the crowd there especially the unique shopping experience in bugis junction, i'll consider to stay at this hotel again when i visit Singapore next time. | "Poor reception services. Not a friendly environment. Check in very slow.
The room is very dusty need to be dust and clean, more like to a two star hotel. I got flu and asthma after staying in that hotel.
The bathroom is very small.
We have been cheated. We book and paid a room with bathtub, unfortunately we were given a room with shower only.
What a disappointed booking." |

| "This is my second time to stay at your hotel but the service of your hotel has come to the worse, except your friendly porters!
We requested two rooms with connecting door right from the beginning till a couple of days before I arrived but we had to wait until about4pm to get the room ready.
The first day: there was no shampoo in room 1111 and when I asked through line 5 who told me to call line 4 for a newspaper some time in the afternoon and when I called they said yes but the paper had never turned up.When I asked the front office the guy simple said, there was no request for the paper without apologising for being unable to fullfil the guest's request. I remember the paper was hung on the door every morning during my previous stay.
The second day, there was no floor mat in room 1111 it seemed the hotel is employing low paid staff from China with poor English communication who came to clean the room very late in the afternoon instead of the normal late morning.
The guy at the Breakfast room is more suitable to work as a bouncer with his very unfriendly look without greeting nor courtesy as someone working in the hospitality industry is supposed to do.

| "Although the service was good we were dissapointed in the room size rather cramped for 3 adults. The rooms could also benefit from a face lift. Good choice of food in the hotel's restaurants and helpful staff but breakfast was very noisy due to some of the guests staying there." |

| "On entering the room it looked very plain. The bed was rock hard which put me off. However it was 2.5mx2.5m which was nice.
The bath room was very small and only had a shower over the bath tub with a dirty old curtain in front of it.
The bench looked like it hadnt been wiped down for many weeks, the other guests toothpaste stains were clearly visible.
Attached to the hotel is a shopping mall, its ok.
The hotel is in the middle of town so you can easily walk to every place.
Taxis also come to the front of the hotel every 2 minutes so no need to hunt one down.
The restarauants inside the hotel are awesome.
Overall the golden landmark hotel was nice but for the price you pay it could do with some improvements." |

| "Hotel is ok for the money. Ask for a room on the higher floors and non smoking for better rooms.
Buffet breakfast is good with a chef there to cook for you too.
Good location to Bugis, very close. Not many westerners at this hotel. " |

| "location not bad, but overall the hotel seems to be in need of renovation, i think we was unlucky to clash with a large wedding party that seemed to take over the whole hotel" |

| "the sheets was dirty and in some of the days was not replaced.
the dining room for Breakfast is too small and crowded and we had to fight for a table and food. we decided to give up and went to eat in coffee shop.
when we check out, there was no one for help us to take down the suitcases (they were eating lunch).
