Superior double room; stay 20 - 22 July; room size was reasonable, contemporary furnishing including a study desk that faced the center of the room, not a wall as usual. A a lone chair was uncomfortable however. The flat LCD TV and mini component stereo made for a smaller entertainment console which provided more open floor space. The bed was firm but comfortable enough. Carpeting was still fresh and the bathroom had a stone floor and separate shower stall. Nice amenities. Hallway reasonably bright and cheerful. Breakfast buffet had a nice variety of food items. We didn't use the other facilities such as the fitness center however. Location is great, a 10 minute walk to Raffles Center (and therefore the subway). The Peninsula Plaza is next door which includes a food court. Service was prompt and courteous. Our stay in Singapore was short but enjoyable because of this hotel. Highly recommended.

| "Located within less than 5 mins walking distance to MRT station and shoppings. Need to request for change of room during the first night as the room has a terrible smell. Also the hotel staff don't seem to be happy...probably could have affected their service." |

| "I was travelling with my elderly mother who has difficulty walking and the hotel were marvellous in attending to her needs. My mother was helped from the taxi and a wheelchair appeared without us having to ask. Throughout our stay all the staff were courteous and attentive to the needs of its guests. The rooms were modern and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent. After a hard day sightseeing it was good to relax by the outdoor pool. Its location is very central, close to City Hall metro and a short walk from the river." |

| "The location of the hotel is good and very near the MRT City Hall station. Breakfast was good, although the rooms of the hotel have been quite tired. Nevertheless, for the price of the room, it is good value especially compare with all the other 5 star hotel prices in Singapore. " |
