I stayed at this hotel 81 for 3 days.. it was nice and clean howevwer the location was not good for me.. its located at red light city area I prefer stay at another 81 hotel location but the cost was too expensive more than the one I stay at.. alswo noticed that the brerakfast wasnot inlcuded as I have always had breakfast included everyday in Bangkok,Thailand.. I am now aware that Singapore monetary is very expensive compare to Bangkok.. the prices of anything is almost like in U.S. However my staying in Singapore was very pleasant and enjoyable..

| "The reason why I choose this hotel is ... first of all, very reasonable price in Singapore, besides even if Hotel81 is a famous hotel group which is providing that kind of hotels in Geylang where there is the famous red-light district area and many street prostitutions, this hotel locates in Bencoolen, instead of Geylang. So until I stayed there, I had believed it would be a normal business hotel (nothing special, but enough to stay simply). In fact, when I checked in afternoon, I saw many international travellers (including families) in the small lobby and felt that it could be a budget business hotel.
However, in mid-night (around after 1am), many men who were taking that kind of ladies arrived the hotel by taxi. Moreover, most of them got drunk, so very noisy because some of them were shouting. Although I heard noise (voice) from neighbors (maybe because of thin separation), most noise come from the other side of my room’s door (means many rooms were making noise at the same time)... Such noisy customer arrived around until 4am. I could not sleep well, because I had to check out at 5am... Now, I really regret why I did not give up to sleep and spend night time at food court (open 24hours, providing many kinds of food and alcohol too) near the hotel...
Anyway, only location was very nice (near station, many restaurant & food court, and convenience store), but I do NOT recommend family traveller & real couple." |

| "A good basic hotel. Service is great, there's plenty of staff who are always cheerful and helpful. Rooms are small but neat and tidy, perfectly adequate. Clean. The hotel is safe, busy but not noisy and there's a friendly atmosphere to the place that I liked.

| "The location of this hotel is OK, in one end of Orchard Road. Just walk around 10 minutes to Orchard Road where you can find varies of stores to shop. The best for the hotel is that it is quite clean, esp the bedding, and feel confortable when sleep. The service in the hotel is good. But the room is very small. Bathroon is small as well. Bathroom facility is just so so. Breakfast is just so so. Anyhow, it's good for the budgeted travellers in Singapore since many other hotel in Singapore is quite expensive." |

| "Reasonable location. VERY small room (Standard room). Would be more comfortable for one person. Smallest bathroom I think I've ever seen. No minibar/fridge. Breakfast was in a dingy little back room and left a lot to be desired. Certainly not value for the money you pay but then that is Singapore from my experience." |
