| "Hotel is nice and clean. Unfortunately has no Internet access or Internet corner.Location is between City and Airport, quite convenient.
Otherwise I had a pleasant stay. " |

| "It's got a great location in the midst of interesting eating and entertainment opportunity. The room is tiny, there are no closets, and the bath is integrated with the shower. Still, in pricy Singapore, it's a great option provided you understand the neighborhood" |

| "A nice place, maybe the rooms are a bit cramped and small, but otherwise clean. Air Conditioning is fine (as in most of Singapore) and you have full control over it.
I wouldn't recommend it to families, since it's the heart of the Red Light district of Singapore, but it's nevertheless a good and safe place to stay.
10 minutes walk to the nearest subway station, but there are also a lot of buses very close to the hotel. In 20 minutes you can be in the center of Singapore.

| "This hotel is located in the red light district of town, which was not really an issue as the locals tend to leave you alone. If you are a regular budget traveller than this hotel is fine. The bathroom was small but clean and better than others I have used in other Asian destinations. The room is small but again as a budget traveller this was expected and was fine. The bed was comfy, some of the sheets had the odd small hole but at least I knew the sheets were changed daily! Staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. The overall cleanliness was fine, as expected for a budget hotel. The TV has no remote but again for a budget place you don't really expect one. You do get complimentary bottle of water and instant noodles daily though. My only complaint was that for a hotel claiming to be non-smoking it reeked of smoke. Our room was so smelly I couldn't stay in there at first, even the pillows smelt of smoke but after a word with reception they 'fixed' it, not sure what that involved but by the time we came back it was better, not perfect but bearable." |

| "The room and bathroom is clean, but the bed sheet didn't smell fragrant, just plain and feels like a little dusty :)
Equipped with TV, Air Cons, Water Heater (not functional).
Located in Geylang, I saw some prostitutes around on my way from MRT Station to the Hotel, as long as you're okay with that this hotel is worth for the price." |

| "Enjoyed my stay, clean room, not much to criticise, maybe the lack of Remote control of the TV, and my never ending criticism of budget hotels that don't have a bar frig. to keep drinks cold, otherwise great. Handy location would be better if they had internet access on site." |

| "This hotel is in the "Red light district" of Singapore. There were working girls standing right outside of the hotel 9 o'clock in the morning. You get what you paid for but I was not expecting the surrounding area to be that scary." |

| "Considering that Singapore is the center for business, and hotels are highly priced, I could recommend hotel 81 for budget travallers and entrepreneurs. But don't expect as much as what other hotel offers, the value you would pay worth it. Thanks to the staff of Hotel 81. " |
