| "The room was bathed in smoke and irritated my lungs.
The sheets had stains.
The bathroom did not have toilet paper and there were cigerette butts in the tub." |

| "The Location is far away from MRT station. Also, this is in red light district. Highly recommend girls to take taxi from MRT to Hotel at night, which cost less than SG$4, for safety. " |

| "Before I arrived at the hotel, the taxi driver wasn't very keen taking to there and did point out what I would expect from the location. Its virtually 24 hours red light district, very noisy at night. Even I am not a "customer", people may think that I may be.
I only use the hotel for bathroom and leave my baggages there, because I was out in town the whole day and did not get back around 2:00am and left at 4:00am to catch my early flight to Kuala Lumpur.
No way I will stay there with my family, I did asked the reception whether I can relocate to one their sister hotel in Joo Chiat near East Coast Parkway instead, but they wanted to charge me another UK£20 plus. I sure this hotel and the rest around there are hired by the hours for the local, etc.
May be its my first encounter of sure "red light district", interesting but no thanks." |

| "I was unaware that the hotel was in what I would refer to as a "Red Light District". However I found it very comvenient. Close ,or fairly close to the MRT and to busses.
It would be an advantage for your staff on the counter to have at hand copies of the bus routes and any other info of this kind. To help the tourist who cannot afford the Taxi service although this is cheap.
I like busses especially top deckerTwo Level as I see much more.
Thank you." |

| "This was the second time I stayed at a Hotel81. The last one was at the ChinaTown. I had a good time with this stay as the last one. For the price I paid, it was definitely a great deal. The room was clean and the bath room was nothing to complain about. although this one is right in the mid of the red light district, I was nevber bothered by anyone as I was in/out of the place. I felt safe the entire time there. I would not recommend for family with children to be at that local. Around the hotel there were multiple great Chinese eateries of different ethnicity. The hotel is about 15 mins from airport by taxi." |
