| "Having stayed in Geylang before, I knew about the area and its interesting surroundings.
Picked this hotel as the bus(80) from the MRT(Aljuined) stops right at the top of the street. The hotels in this area are basic rooms, but good value for money.
Would only recommend this if your backpacking or having a quick stop over in Singapore.

| "We found this hotel to be very useful as a cheap base for daily excursion in and around Singapore. Its proximity to the MRT is a bonus. There are numerous cheap eating places very close by. We moved rooms to an internet enabled floor. The internet is fast but $10 a day is a little steep. " |

| "It's a terrible experience for staying at Love Hotel! I won't stay there again even I don't have too much budget for travelling. The room is quite small without any facility, bad smell like smoking, dirty...etc. The location is also not suitable for family or single traveller especially for girl since it's locate in Red Light Area. But all the staff in Hotel is very nice and helpful.
Anyhow, will not recommend it for anyone." |

| "My stay in Hotel 81 is very good. They have very accommodating staff and the room is actually good. Its very convenient also becauce it is very near the MRT stations -- probably 10-15 minutes walk.
The location gives you the chance to try out the delicacies of Singapore at very affordable prices.
Security is not a problem as well." |

| "Good basic accomadation. Staff were helpful. Location is very good being only a few minutes walk to Allenjuid Metro station. Plenty of Cable TV channels. All for between 40 and 50 Singapore.

| "The room was small but clean and tidy. This is a budget hotel so I did not expect much. The hotel location that is right in the heart of the Geylang red light district makes it not suitable for families.
Room service was fine. One negative note is that the laundry service take at least 2 days. " |
