I was impressed with the cleanliness and good condition of the room. Despite the small size (I had a single room) everything was there for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, I didn't discover the room safe (which was under the bed) until the next morning when I was about to leave! The location is excellent; shops nearby, MRT (train) station in walking distance (5 minutes) and plenty of taxis. They congregate at the cafe nearby because of the good coffee which is also inexpensive. I had a street front room and initially I was worried that it may be noisy as I heard some noise from passing people, however, that settled down and I had a restful sleep. Though I didn't spend a lot of time there, my encounters with the staff was agreeable. I would certainly stay there again when I am in Singapore.

| "A good location, with friendly, helpful staff. Room facilies were good, but the room was too small. With 2 people in the room, there was no space at all. As an example, there was only a 250mm space between the washbasin and bed. There was no place for a suitcase except on the floor in front of the door. The price of AUD$160 was too high for such a room. " |

| "Although the room and bathroom were a little small, the staff were friendly and it was a couple of minutes walk from the nearest MRT station. Breakfast wasn't a huge offering but it was ample to start the day with. There was free wireless internet but I wasn't travelling with my laptop - what was required was a dedicated internet computer in the hotel for guest's usage." |

| "Free access to the internet and topped-up complimentary water/coke were a big plus. Breakfast was good and staff were very friendly and helpful with a good command on English. Our room faced a street and consequently noisy. Double-glazed windows would be advantageous for rooms facing the street." |
