Would I stay at this location
again:

No way!
This Hotel is a total rip off! The Superior Room we booked is about 60-75 square meters. It is the smallest room I've ever seen in my life! I believe they just turned a storage closet into a room. The retail price for this extra small room is $108 US and they do not have a) any ice b) a mini bar c) an actual bathroom. The bathroom is part of your bedroom and the water sprays all over the toilet and sink when you take a shower. This hotel and all others are supposed to be smoke free, but before I got ready to go to bed I got a strong wiff of cigarette smoke smell. Even my husband who never complains agreed there was a strong cigarette smoke odor. I complained at the front desk twice, but they kept telling me they can't smell the smoke. Also the A/C in the room does not work well. I'm pretty much sweating in this small triangular shape room. It's absoloutley the worst hotel in the world. I've stayed in many hotels including third world country hotels that have had better service and facilities at better prices than this hotel. If you do decide to go with this hotel definately upgrade to deluxe or a suite, but for that price you can probably get something way better somewhere else. I booked this hotel only because Lonely Planet recommended it, they should be sued for recommending such a horrible hotel.

2/5  Posted by MR. DAVIES, John, Australia in August 2008
"A good location, with friendly, helpful staff. Room facilies were good, but the room was too small. With 2 people in the room, there was no space at all. As an example, there was only a 250mm space between the washbasin and bed. There was no place for a suitcase except on the floor in front of the door. The price of AUD$160 was too high for such a room. "

"Unusual place, full of classic chairs! Great for design freaks. The room was very small but was more than made up for by excelent service, facilities and location. Highly recommended."

"Although the room and bathroom were a little small, the staff were friendly and it was a couple of minutes walk from the nearest MRT station. Breakfast wasn't a huge offering but it was ample to start the day with. There was free wireless internet but I wasn't travelling with my laptop - what was required was a dedicated internet computer in the hotel for guest's usage."

4/5  Posted by MR. FARUQI, Arif, Australia in November 2007
"Free access to the internet and topped-up complimentary water/coke were a big plus. Breakfast was good and staff were very friendly and helpful with a good command on English. Our room faced a street and consequently noisy. Double-glazed windows would be advantageous for rooms facing the street."
