Would I stay at this location
again:

Probably not
The was basically clean and we loved the modern decor. The location was very good and the breakfast was decent. The staff were unattentive except for the sweet woman serving breakfast. The jacuzzi apparently does not produce hot-water, so think again if this is one of the reasons you are choosing this hotel. It wasn't broken, it just doesn't heat the water so it's more like a small jet-pool. The toilet is actually in the shower (if you can picture this), which I guess is not their fault because spaces are small in Singapore. I have one story to share which may sum up my feelings about this hotel. I checked in after a long flight and went straight to the jacuzzi to soak my bones. It was cold and the switch for the jets was not in an obvious or marked place so I went back to my room to call the front desk. The phone rang 15-20 times until finally someone at the desk lifted the receiver and hung it up with out answering. I called back, it rang 5 times and when they finally answered instead of coming up to turn on the jacuzzi, they tried to explain its obscure location to me.Upon giving up on the jacuzzi, I went back to my room for a warm shower (to heat back up from the cold jacuzzi). I let the shower run for 10 minutes thinking it would start to get warm any minute but it did not, so finally I went downstairs to ask at the front desk (I had already learned my lesson about calling down there).I was told that the room hot water is heated by power generators which must be switched on in the room. This switch was not labeled and I was not made aware of this feature upon check-in. Overall, I felt like this was once a swanky hotel, but is now managed by people who are interested in collecting regular paychecks off of unwary travellers who don't know any better. I was disappointed because this hotel clearly has worlds of potential.

"A good location, with friendly, helpful staff. Room facilies were good, but the room was too small. With 2 people in the room, there was no space at all. As an example, there was only a 250mm space between the washbasin and bed. There was no place for a suitcase except on the floor in front of the door. The price of AUD$160 was too high for such a room. "

"Unusual place, full of classic chairs! Great for design freaks. The room was very small but was more than made up for by excelent service, facilities and location. Highly recommended."

"Although the room and bathroom were a little small, the staff were friendly and it was a couple of minutes walk from the nearest MRT station. Breakfast wasn't a huge offering but it was ample to start the day with. There was free wireless internet but I wasn't travelling with my laptop - what was required was a dedicated internet computer in the hotel for guest's usage."

"Free access to the internet and topped-up complimentary water/coke were a big plus. Breakfast was good and staff were very friendly and helpful with a good command on English. Our room faced a street and consequently noisy. Double-glazed windows would be advantageous for rooms facing the street."
