Wonderfull! A truly stunning hotel with service to match. We stayed here as part of our 25th wedding anniversary trip and it really made our holiday. If you want a luxury hotel which is really friendly, stay at the Intercontinental - and the prices are reasonable too! In addition the hotel is centrally located and the Bugis shopping and entertainment complex is behind the hotel, with the Bugis MRT station a short walk through the shops and resturants. Bugis street, a day and night street market is also just outside the complex. We will stay here next time we visit Singapore for sure.

"Paid more than $300 U.S. per night for two nights in June and they wouldn't even provide complimentary bottled water. I arrived at the hotel late (after 1 a.m.) and I had to talk to three people (the last one a manager) in order to get complimentary bottled water. Very poor service and value for what I paid. Would never stay there again."

"Excellent Hotel in a very central location,Ideal as a base to explore the city. Amenities nearby very varied and good quality. The shopping mall next door was great to while a few hours away in the evenings. The staff were all very polite, friendly and professional. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend the Intercontinental and its staff and also Singapore as a place to stay/visit. "

"The staff were very polite and always helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choice, varied each day. It was included in the cots and very good value. The position for shopping, the harbour and getting around was very good. Most taxi trips were under ten dollars. We had a family of four travelling so it was economical. "
