The hotel was fine, although I found the night desk clerk a little unfriendly.
Having experienced a delay of 5hours from Melbourne I arrived at the hotel at 3am, only to discover I wouldn't be able to get my room till much later and was told I can wait in the foyer till 10am the next morning. I realise I must have made the mistake or somewhere it got transferred to a later date. I had wanted the room from 9:30pm 26th November until the next night at 7pm when I need to leave for the airport. However it was booked for 27th-28th. The other option was that I pay for yet another night, he didn't see fit to transfer the payment to a day earlier. Which surely he could have done, hence I had to pay an additional. Which after a long delayed flight was my only option. This aspect was somewhat dissappointing
Other than that the hotel was fine.

| "it is a good hotel noy too big an not small either, perfect room and the staf is OK. A good breakfast. The location is good, on the end of Orchard Road. So it depends on which side of this road you're interested in. I will surely come back to this hotel again." |

| "Very happy with all aspects of our stay.
Found the staff exceptionally helpful, especially in the restaurant. Food was well presented. Would have liked more menu choices.
One matter that we think does need attention is access to the hotel when entering on foot from Orchard Road or from the rear of the building. These accesses are through a somewhat shabby shopping area, which diminishes the otherwise very well presented interior of the hotel.
We are happy to be quoted on this.

| "This is the third time that we have stayed at the meridien. We have always found it be excellent. The staff particularly are always helpful and friendly. The breakfast is supberb as is the evening buffet meal. To sit in the atrium in the evening and listen to the pianist while sipping a singapore sling is memorable.
This hotel is paticularly suited to seniors, as the staff are always there to help, and to make your stay trouble and stress free. " |

| "A reasobaly sized clean room although the bathroom was looking a little tired. We arrived at 8am but were allocated a room straightaway which was a plus point after a long overnight flight from the UK. We used few of the hotel facilities but the breakfast was excellent and we were greeted by name, which added a personal touch. Great location on Orchard Road." |
