I like this hotel. Clean and quiet. Room size is a bit small. The hotel is "almost" connected to the mall. You need to walk outside for about 30 seconds to connecto to the mall. However, you still need to walk a bit to get to the MTA (subway system).
The breakfast is impressive. there is a lot of selection. However, make sure that it is included in the room rate because they charge something ridiculous like 40 SGD for 1 person for the buffet breakfast.
We got a harbour view which was great and the best part was that we got a late check-out of 6pm because our flight was at 11PM. Very nice of them :)
We didn't try the gym or the swimming pool.

| "Ask for a harbour view-it overlooks the Merlion,the City,the Colonial part etc The breakfasts are superb with a huge range.Drinks in the hotel are quite pricey.
Connects through the arcades to City Hall(MRT)and the Raffles Arcade." |

| "Fantastic hotel! Great location if want to be close to attractions yet away from busy Orchard Road. Lovely staff. Breakfast unbelievable, you'll need at least an hour to get through all their delights!
Great pool area, with regular free treats, such as frozen strawberries and smoothies!
Will definately be back to Oriental hotel again.A bit pricey but definately worth it!" |
