Stayed 5 nights at Oriental March 25th to 31st 2006. What can I say but perfect in every way. We took offer of upgrade on arrival which gave us a superb 19th floor room with breathtaking views over the Singapore River. It also included entry to the Club Lounge including champagne breakfast, afternoon tea and luxurious themed buffet dinner with as much of whatever you wished to drink between 17:30 and 19:30. This cost an extra sterling equivalent of £20 each per day. However 16% tax is extra at time of payment but don't let this put you off as it is a luxury offer worth so much more. The staff deserve a special mention as service with a smile is an understatement. These people are superb in every way, they just cannot do enough for you without being overpowering. All in all unbeatable.

| "Ask for a harbour view-it overlooks the Merlion,the City,the Colonial part etc The breakfasts are superb with a huge range.Drinks in the hotel are quite pricey.
Connects through the arcades to City Hall(MRT)and the Raffles Arcade." |

| "Fantastic hotel! Great location if want to be close to attractions yet away from busy Orchard Road. Lovely staff. Breakfast unbelievable, you'll need at least an hour to get through all their delights!
Great pool area, with regular free treats, such as frozen strawberries and smoothies!
Will definately be back to Oriental hotel again.A bit pricey but definately worth it!" |
